Where it started
Ericka & JJ
Meet Ericka and JJ, the dynamic duo behind Brightside Coffee Bar. Their love for coffee and each other brought them together in a cozy coffee shop, where their relationship and passion for the perfect cup of coffee flourished. After a year of dating, they decided to turn their love into a business by launching Brightside Coffee Bar in 2020. Today, that small spark has grown into a full team of professional baristas and event specialists, bringing that same passion for hospitality to events across Houston and beyond.
Reimagining Event Coffee Service
When we launched Brightside, we saw an opportunity to elevate what event coffee service could look like.
Many coffee carts are built around rustic wood finishes and traditional setups. While beautiful in the right setting, we wanted to create something different—something that felt modern, refined, and intentionally designed for today's corporate events, luxury celebrations, and premium brand experiences.
Our signature white coffee bars were created to complement elevated event spaces while providing a clean canvas for customization and branding. The result is a coffee experience that feels polished, sophisticated, and seamlessly integrated into your event design.
